We are randomly assigned a city and streets + square. We are asked to do excellent research + content development and to present well in an on-screen presentation. We were assigned Malmo, the Western Harbour + Bo01 Complex for CITIES and Piazza del Campidoglio, Rome, Italy for STREETS + SQUARES. We were asked to quote from Jan Gehl as one of the main resources for our on-screen presentation.
We began by collecting as many resources as we could, from libraries, and online so we could get a better sense of the assigned city and street + square. We, then, started finding images online and quotes from Jan Gehl's book Cities for People. We made sure that everything was consistent with one another.
We did a great job on the research and the images were great too for the presentation slides.
